About the event
IT takes a Village and Breast Choice Lactation Presents:
LISTEN UP!, a vibrant celebration of Black Breastfeeding Week, dedicated to raising awareness, promoting breastfeeding in the Black community, and supporting Black mothers. This event will feature a community photoshoot to honor and showcase the beauty and strength of Black breastfeeding families. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in various activities, connect with local resources, and celebrate the joys and challenges of the breastfeeding journey. We invite all to gather with us who have weaned, have older children they have nursed, are still nursing, exclusively pumping, pregnant, who are going to choose to nurse or those individuals who support black breastfeeding. Diaper Drive: This is a FREE EVENT. Our talented photographer is volunteering their time to capture beautiful moments of Black breastfeeding families. In appreciation, they have asked that each family bring an unopened pack of diapers (any size) to…
